In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Peddie Falcons (Hightstown, NJ), by a count of 60-28.

The Lions (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Barrack Hebrew Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA). The Cougars go into the Friends Schools outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Barrack Hebrew Academy was crushed by Hill School (Pottstown, PA), 51-21, in a non-league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Mercersburg Academy for a Mid-Atlantic Prep outing on Saturday, January 27. Peddie will clash with a Blue Storm squad coming off a 45-31 non-league win over Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD). The Blue Storm record now stands at 10-5.
