In Wednesday's league outing, the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Delphian Dragons (Sheridan, OR), by a margin of 62-15.

The Pioneers (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Cougars go into the 2A Tri-River outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Gervais was trounced by Willamina (Willamina, OR), 40-19, in a league outing.

The Dragons now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Santiam for a 2A Tri-River outing on Friday, January 26. Delphian will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 38-29 league win over Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-8.
