Maryland High School Basketball - Howard can't hold off Oakland Mills

The Oakland Mills Scorpions basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Howard Lions to 46 in the Scorpions league victory on Wednesday.
The Scorpions now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilde Lake for a Howard County contest on Friday, January 26. Oakland Mills will battle a Wildecats team coming off a 30-28 league loss to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD). The Wildecats record now stands at 0-11.
The Lions (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD). The Vikings come into the Howard County contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Mt. Hebron edged Centennial (Ellicott City, MD), 36-31, in a league contest.
