St.Ignace Saints (St. Ignace, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI), 53-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St.Ignace upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Saints host Rudyard (Rudyard, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Hurons play the Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) in a North Star bout, on Thursday, January 25. Rogers City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
