Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA), 42-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Moses Lake upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Sunnyside lost 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against West Valley (Yakima, WA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 53-11 non-league loss to Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA).
