With the win, Mount Vernon Christian upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host LaConner (LaConner, WA) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 6-1.

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Grace Academy Eagles (Marysville, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 25. Lummi will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
