The Land O' Lakes Gators (Land O' Lakes, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL), 51-24 in Wednesday's league test.
The Gators (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Countryside (Clearwater, FL). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Countryside walloped Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL), 68-36, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lecanto for a non-league test on Friday, January 26. Springstead will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 61-43 non-league win over Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-1.
