New York High School Basketball - Orchard Park nips Lewiston-Porter

Orchard Park Quakers (Orchard Park, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY), 59-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Orchard Park improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Nichols (Buffalo, NY) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Nichols lost 70-45 in their recent league challenge against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Lancers confront the Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Lewiston-Porter will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
