West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), 62-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Raton (Raton, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Raton lost 74-30 in their recent non-league bout against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)

Next up, the Sundevils play the East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Sandia Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Timberwolves come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 51-31 non-league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM).
