The Mater Academy Charter Lions held off the host Southridge Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Miami Beach for a non-league match on Friday, January 26. Mater Academy Charter will encounter a Hi-Tides squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over JC Bermudez Doral (Doral, FL). The Hi-Tides record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Southridge drops to 12-4 on the season.
