The Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH) basketball edged the host Allen East Mustangs (Harrod, OH), 57-51 in Friday's league bout.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Lima Central Catholic will play a Commodores team coming off a 70-19 non-league loss to New Bremen (New Bremen, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Allen East falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25.
