North Carolina High School Basketball - Ambassador Christian School thwarts Independence

January 24, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC) and the visiting Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), observed Ambassador Christian School's basketball team knock off Independence by a score of 57-49.

The Lions (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Hopewell prevailed over Hough (Cornelius, NC), 53-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Independence will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 63-47 league win over Providence (Charlotte, NC).
