The Hayden Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Augusta Orioles to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwin for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Hayden will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Augusta falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Andale (Andale, KS) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Indians go into the game with a record of 8-2. Andale won 63-41 in their recent non-league game against Winfield (Winfield, KS)
