In Friday's league contest, the host Bethlehem Central Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-34 triumph over the Averill Park Warriors.

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY). The Silver Warriors go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Niskayuna topped Columbia (East Greenbush, NY), 75-57, in a league contest.

Averill Park will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 3-11 record after their 54-40 league loss to Colonie Central (Albany, NY).
