In Friday's league contest, the visiting Bossier Bearkats basketball team scored a good 64-52 triumph over the Booker T. Washington-Shreveport Lions.
The Bearkats (13-19) will now prepare for their contest against Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Cowboys go into the 4A District 1 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Southwood topped Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA), 50-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Booker T. Washington-Shreveport will attempt to better on its 16-12 season record.
