The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crown Point Panthers (Crown Point, NY) and the host Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), observed Crown Point's basketball team overcome Boquet Valley by a score of 75-65.

The Panthers (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitehall (Whitehall, NY). The Railroaders come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Whitehall defeated Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY), 96-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Boquet Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Peru (Peru, NY).
