The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) and the host Braymer Bobcats (Braymer, MO), observed Savannah's basketball team knock off Braymer by a score of 42-32.

The Savages (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against West Platte (Weston, MO). The Bluejays come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, West Platte was knocked off by Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO), 63-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Higbee Tigers (Higbee, MO) in a CLAA challenge, on Friday, January 24. Braymer will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 73-34 league win over Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO).
