Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Towanda overwhelms Canton

The Towanda Black Knights basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Canton Warriors to 32 in the Black Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Black Knights now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Penn-Mansfield for a Northern Tier game on Monday, January 27. Towanda will confront a Tigers team coming off a 50-31 league win over Sayre (Sayre, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-3.

The Warriors (5-11) will now prepare for their outing against Williamson (Tioga, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Williamson was overwhelmed by Troy (Troy, PA), 98-31, in a non-league outing.
