The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wilder Wildcats (Wilder, ID) and the host Centennial Baptist Mustangs (Caldwell, ID), observed Wilder's basketball team overcome Centennial Baptist by a margin of 54-45.

The Wildcats (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Charter (Nampa, ID). The Patriots come into the 2A Western Idaho bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Liberty Charter fell by Rimrock (Bruneau, ID), 57-55, in a league bout.

With the loss, Centennial Baptist falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Horseshoe Bend lost 62-37 in their recent league bout against Council (Council, ID)
