Kentucky High School Basketball - Daviess County knocks off Webster County

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Daviess County Panthers basketball team scored a good 77-60 win over the Webster County Trojans.
The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles come into the District 9 contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Apollo defeated John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 85-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Webster County will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 60-47 non-league loss to Logan County (Russellville, KY).
