The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI) and the host Dow Chargers (Midland, MI), observed Heritage's basketball team knock off Dow by a score of 73-54.

The Hawks (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland (Midland, MI). The Chemics come into the Saginaw Valley challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Midland dropped by Dow (Midland, MI), 49-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Friday, January 31. Dow will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
