Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Center overwhelms Elk River

The Park Center Pirates basketball team scored 80 points and limited the visiting Elk River Elks to 40 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Farmington for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Park Center will confront a Tigers team coming off a 59-52 league win over Century (Rochester, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Elk River falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Elks host Rogers (Rogers, MN) to confront the Royals in a AAAA Section 8 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Royals go into the game with a record of 6-11.
