The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH) and the host Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), observed Franklin's basketball team knock off Sunapee by a score of 67-56.

The Tornadoes (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH). The Panthers come into the Division IV challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Pittsfield dropped by Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH), 69-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lakers encounter the Holy Family Academy (Manchester, NH) in a Division IV challenge, on Monday, January 27. Sunapee will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record.
