Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), 50-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Frederick Gunn upgrades its record to 7-10 on the year. The Highlanders travel to Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT) to face the Griffins in a match on Saturday, January 25. The Griffins enter the match with a record of 1-0. Pomfret School won 75-63 in their recent non-league match against King (Stamford, CT)
