Maine High School Basketball - Yarmouth holds off Fryeburg

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Yarmouth Clippers basketball team scored a close 50-47 triumph over the Fryeburg Raiders.
The Clippers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Gray-New Gloucester nipped Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME), 67-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) in a A South challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Fryeburg will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 65-60 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).
