Kentucky High School Basketball - Gallatin County succumbs to Simon Kenton

January 24, 2025: Warsaw, KY 41095

The Simon Kenton Pioneers defeated the host Gallatin County Wildcats basketball squad by a final score of 62-47 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 25. Simon Kenton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the outing with a 8-5 record after their 53-35 league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY).

The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Warriors come into the District 31 outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Eminence overcame Highlands Latin (Louisville, KY), 70-36, in a non-league outing.
