The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) and the visiting Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ), observed William Penn Charter's basketball team overwhelm Lawrenceville School by a score of 80-45.

The Quakers (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Fords come into the Inter-Academic challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Haverford School trounced Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA), 62-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Big Red encounter the Blair Academy Bucs (Blairstown, NJ) in a Mid-Atlantic Prep challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Lawrenceville School will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bucs go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 79-73 league loss to Hun (Princeton, NJ).
