The Lincoln Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Northwest Mustangs to 36 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Green Ridge for a Kaysinger game on Tuesday, January 28. Lincoln will confront a Tigers team coming off a 40-39 league loss to Otterville (Otterville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Northwest falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Faith Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Knights go into the game with a record of 13-3. Faith Christian Academy won 64-36 in their recent non-league game against Lutheran (Kansas City, MO)
