The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) and the visiting Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID), observed Owyhee's basketball team overwhelm Mountain View by a score of 88-62.

The Storm (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgevue (Nampa, ID). The Warhawks come into the 6A Southern Idaho challenge with a 9-7 record.

In their next game, the Mavericks encounter the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Meridian, ID) in a 6A Central Idaho challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 70-62 league win over Ridgevue (Nampa, ID).
