The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY), observed Sweet Home's basketball team overwhelm Niagara-Wheatfield by a score of 72-35.

The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Billies come into the Section 6 Erie County II challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Williamsville South trounced Garrett Morgan (Cleveland, OH), 62-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Niagara-Wheatfield will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 59-52 non-league win over East Aurora (East Aurora, NY).
