The Huskies (18-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA). The The Aviators come into the Coastal challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy trounced SEED: LA (Los Angeles, CA), 58-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Marcos de Niza Padres (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. St. Mary's will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Padres come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 80-73 league win over Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ).
