The Vanguard Christian Knights got by the host Sabinal Yellowjackets basketball squad by a final score of 54-49 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Knights clash with the McCauley Christian Academy Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a TCAL outing, on Monday, January 27. Vanguard Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record.

The Yellowjackets (10-15) will now prepare for their outing against Legacy Traditional Basse (San Antonio, TX). The Wolfpack come into the 2A Region IV District 30 outing with a 3-12 record.
