The Tupelo Tigers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Strother Yellowjackets to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Stonewall for a Pontotoc game on Saturday, January 25. Tupelo will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 75-38 non-league win over Stringtown (Stringtown, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Strother falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Stratford (Stratford, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-7. Stratford won 59-46 in their recent non-league match against Maud (Maud, OK)
