The Triad Knights basketball team scored 89 points and limited the visiting Taylorville Tornadoes to 81 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Civic Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Triad will confront a Eagles team coming off a 67-53 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Taylorville falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Rochester (Rochester, IL) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 14-6. Rochester lost 61-39 in their recent non-league game against Centennial (Champaign, IL)
