The Bangor Rams basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans to 43 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Edward Little for a AA North game on Friday, January 31.

With the loss, Thornton Academy falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Gorham (Gorham, ME) to play the Rams in a AA South game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rams go into the game with a record of 12-2. Gorham won 31-26 in their recent league game against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME)
