In Friday's non-league test, the Beaver Beavers (Beaver, UT) basketball squad trounced the host Panguitch Bobcats (Panguitch, UT), by a score of 66-30.

Next, the Beavers encounter the Kanab Cowboys (Kanab, UT) in a 2A Region 18 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Beaver will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 17-2 record after their 64-16 league win over Parowan (Parowan, UT).
