The Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Archbishop Bergan Knights (Fremont, NE), 45-17 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Shamrocks now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Kearney Catholic for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Scotus will play a Stars team coming off a 52-23 non-league win over Lincoln Lutheran (Lincoln, NE). The Stars record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Archbishop Bergan falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Knights host Concordia (Omaha, NE) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Concordia won 65-28 in their recent non-league bout against Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE)
