In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bryn Mawr Mawrtians basketball team scored a close 44-41 triumph over the Concordia Prep Saints.

The Mawrtians (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Timothy's (Stevenson, MD). The go into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, St. Timothy's nipped Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD), 47-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Friends Quakers (Baltimore, MD) in a IAAM C contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Concordia Prep will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Quakers go into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 58-20 league loss to Park School (Baltimore, MD).
