Illinois High School Basketball - Schurz routed by Chicago Marshall

Chicago Marshall Commandos (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Schurz Bulldogs (Chicago, IL), 58-27 in a league match.

With the victory, Chicago Marshall upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Commandos travel to Proviso East (Maywood, IL) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 15-7. Proviso East won 49-34 in their recent non-league match against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicago Academy for a Chicago Public - White North/West match on Monday, January 27.
