The Fair Play Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Climax Springs Cougars to 42 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Weaubleau for a Polk County game on Tuesday, January 28. Fair Play will play a Tigers team coming off a 76-28 league loss to Macks Creek (Macks Creek, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Climax Springs falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Cougars host Warsaw (Warsaw, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 10-7. Warsaw lost 49-38 in their recent league game against Versailles (Versailles, MO)
