Connecticut High School Basketball - Coginchaug Regional knocks off Haddam-Killingworth

In Friday's league contest, the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 64-50 win over the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars.
The Blue Devils (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams come into the Shoreline challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Old Saybrook dropped by Morgan (Clinton, CT), 70-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Haddam-Killingworth will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 57-42 league loss to Hale Ray (Moodus, CT).
