Nevada High School Basketball - Silverado trounced by Desert Oasis

Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), 64-18 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Desert Oasis advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Diamondbacks host Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Wildcats in a 5A Southern match on Wednesday, January 29. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 4-16. Las Vegas won 55-40 in their recent non-league match against Valley (Las Vegas, NV)

The Skyhawks now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Vista for a 4A Mountain match on Monday, January 27. Silverado will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 56-33 league win over Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 12-9.
