The West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) basketball edged the visiting Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD), 62-59 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Parker for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. West Central will play a Pheasants team coming off a 56-23 non-league loss to Flandreau (Flandreau, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 0-13.
With the loss, Elk Point-Jefferson falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Huskies host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-5.
