Virginia High School Basketball - Jefferson Christian Academy overwhelms North Cross

The Jefferson Christian Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host North Cross Raiders to 21 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Jefferson Christian Academy will play a Mavericks team coming off a 51-44 league win over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV). The Mavericks record now stands at 13-2.

With the loss, North Cross falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Chatham Hall (Chatham, VA) to play the Turtles in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Turtles go into the game with a record of 1-7. Chatham Hall won 35-28 in their recent non-league game against Carter G. Woodson (Winston-Salem, NC)
