The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) and the host Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers (Providence, RI), observed Westerly's basketball team overwhelm Juanita Sanchez Complex by a margin of 50-11.
The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Classical (Providence, RI). The Purple come into the Division I challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Classical was trounced by Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI), 80-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a Division I challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Juanita Sanchez Complex will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record.
