The Mustangs (26-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Oakwood Academy dropped by Ider (Ider, AL), 61-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Scottsboro will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL).
