The Maple Lake Irish basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies to 33 in the Irish non-league triumph on Friday.
The Irish now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Maple Lake will confront a Falcons team coming off a 49-34 non-league loss to Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Braham (Braham, MN) to confront the Bombers in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Bombers go into the game with a record of 16-3.
