Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Medford Tigers (Medford, MN), 52-36 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Triton upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Cobras travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MN) to face the Fighting Saints in a AA Section 1 match on Saturday, January 25. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a record of 2-13. St. Charles lost 75-46 in their recent non-league match against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN)

The Tigers now sport a 0-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a AA Section 2 match on Monday, January 27. Medford will face a Panthers squad coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 12-6.
