California High School Basketball - Riverdale sneaks past Minarets

The Riverdale Cowboys basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Minarets Mustangs to 39 in the Cowboys league triumph on Friday.

The Cowboys now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Yosemite for a Northwest Sequoia game on Tuesday, January 28. Riverdale will play a Badgers team coming off a 56-45 league loss to Parlier (Parlier, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, Minarets falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Caruthers (Caruthers, CA) to play the Blue Raiders in a Northwest Sequoia game on Tuesday, January 28. The Blue Raiders go into the game with a record of 15-5. Caruthers lost 65-49 in their recent non-league game against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)
