In Friday's non-league test, the Southeast Cyclones (Yoder, WY) basketball squad defeated the visiting Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE), by a final score of 23-15.
The Cyclones now have a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Niobrara County for a 1A Southeast game on Saturday, January 25. Southeast will confront a Tigers team coming off a 53-37 league loss to Lingle-Fort Laramie (Lingle, WY). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Mitchell falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Kimball (Kimball, NE) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 2-14. Kimball lost 45-33 in their recent non-league game against St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE)
